Ages of Battle
Command Bluefern through 11 ages in a side-view tug-of-war of units, turrets and evolving technology.
ABOUT
Ages of Battle is a side-view strategy game where Bluefern and Emberjaw push across one battlefield, destroy the opposing base and evolve from the Stone Age into the distant future.
Gold arrives over time and from defeated enemies. Spend it on 47 units, 33 turrets and 11 special abilities, or save toward the next age and unlock a stronger roster. Every purchase changes the balance between holding your line and building the force that finally breaks through.
Eleven ages carry the battle from clubs, mammoths and wooden towers through gunpowder, machines and star technology to the Void and Dawn Ages. Each faction has its own silhouettes and super units, so the same battlefield keeps changing as technology advances.
Choose Skirmish for a configurable solo battle, play the Chronicle campaign and earn three stars per chapter, survive Last Stand, attempt the shared Daily Challenge, or share one device in Local Versus and Co-op Command.
Replays, an Armory codex, lifetime statistics and 42 achievements add long-term goals. Your profile, battle and replay data stay in this browser, and signed-in players can sync achievements and playtime to their TrySomeGames account.
Version 1.0.0.7 runs free in the browser in English on desktop, tablet and phone. Keyboard, mouse and touch are supported, with reduced motion, scalable UI, theme and combat-readability settings.

REVIEWS & RATINGS
Editorial review by TrySomeGames — not a player rating
VERDICT: A generous, highly replayable tug-of-war strategy game whose eleven-era escalation keeps every battle moving.
Ages of Battle makes its central decision immediately clear: spend gold on the army in front of you, fortify your base, or hold back long enough to evolve. That tension survives all eleven ages because every new roster changes which answer is right.
The breadth is unusually strong for a browser game. Chronicle chapters, configurable skirmishes, Last Stand, Daily Challenge, local versus and shared-command co-op all use the same readable battlefield without feeling interchangeable.
The battlefield can become busy in later ages, but speed, camera, health-bar and UI-scale settings keep the action manageable. Forty-two achievements and replays give the campaign a satisfying long tail.

- Eleven distinct eras with meaningful roster changes
- Several solo and shared-device modes
- Deep unit, turret and ability combinations
