ABOUT US
TrySomeGames is a small independent game project from Sweden with a big hobby: making free browser games with unique and creative ideas, using AI as one of our tools.
We're not chasing trends. We're chasing the weird, the experimental, and the genuinely fun. Every project starts as a “what if…?” and gets built with a mix of human imagination and AI collaboration.
AI is one tool in our process. People design every game, write and edit the text, balance the rules, and decide what gets published.
Behind TrySomeGames
TrySomeGames is a small independent game project from Sweden, started in 2026. David Johansson is the responsible publisher. There is no registered company, studio or office behind the site.
AI is one of our tools. We use it for code, ideas, prototypes, testing and first drafts of texts. People decide what is built, review and edit what AI produces, balance the rules before it is published. Game outcomes are decided by the game's own rules, not by an AI nobody can check.
We would rather ship a handful of polished games and keep improving them than publish lots of thin ones. Every game page has a version history that lists what changed.
How We Build
Idea → Prototype
Every mechanic starts as a short written idea and a quick prototype, often built with AI assistance. If it isn't fun, it gets shelved.
Playtest → Polish
Ideas that survive playtesting are built out properly with fixed game rules, so results are fair and reproducible.
Ship → Listen
Releases are listed in each game's version history, and feedback through the contact, bug-report and idea forms shapes what we work on next.
Our Values
Human-made, AI-assisted
We use AI as a creative and coding assistant. Game rules, balancing, texts and final releases are designed and reviewed by people before anything goes live.
Bold Ideas
We try concepts that bigger developers would rarely pitch — parliament simulations, political minigames, odd physics toys. If it sounds weird, it might be worth a prototype.
Play First
Theory without fun is a textbook. Every mechanic has to earn its place through actual gameplay. If it isn't genuinely enjoyable to play, it doesn't ship — no matter how clever it looks on paper.

FAQ
Is it free to play?
Yes — all our political simulations and minigames are free to join and play. There are no paywalls or premium tiers for core gameplay. Optional supporter memberships and donations exist but are never required to play.
Do I need political knowledge to play?
Not at all. Our games are designed so newcomers can learn as they play, with in-game guides that explain procedure as it comes up.
Where are you based?
We're a small independent game project based in Sweden 🇸🇪. Model Riksdagen is available in English and Swedish; our other games are in English.
Can I suggest a game idea?
Absolutely. Head to the Contact page or the idea form and tell us your idea. We read every message.
Which AI models do you use?
It depends on the task. AI models help us with code, prototypes and first drafts of texts during development. Game rules and outcomes are fixed in the game code, and people review everything before release.
Is my data safe?
We collect the minimum needed to run the site and the games. Guest play needs no account. Accounts use standard authentication, you can download your data from your account page and request deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
How often do you release updates?
There is no fixed schedule. Updates ship when they are ready, and every game page has a version history listing what changed.
Are you hiring?
No. TrySomeGames is a small hobby project and has no employees or open roles.
