TrySomeGames — Independent AI Game Studio
TrySomeGames is an independent Swedish studio that builds creative AI-powered games. We design political simulations like Model House of Commons (MHOC) and Model Riksdagen, where players debate bills, run for seats and form coalitions inside fully AI-moderated parliaments. Alongside our simulations we build Minigames Party — a chaotic party pack of bite-sized AI-crafted minigames for couch sessions and online play with friends.
What we make
Every TrySomeGames title starts as a “what if…?” and is built with a mix of human imagination and AI collaboration. Our AI isn’t a gimmick — it acts as referee, narrator and world-builder. We prototype the kinds of concepts established studios laugh at in meetings: AI parliaments, procedural scandals, generated story cycles, and political minigames. If it sounds weird, we are probably already building it.
Our philosophy
Theory without fun is a textbook. Every mechanic in our games has to earn its place through actual gameplay — if it isn’t genuinely enjoyable to play, it doesn’t ship, no matter how clever it looks on paper. We are remote-first, based in Sweden, and we build for a global audience in both English and Swedish. All our political simulations and minigames are free to join and play, with no paywalls for core gameplay.

Why AI-powered games?
Traditional simulations and party games hit a ceiling because every scenario, every line of dialogue and every opponent has to be hand-authored. We use AI as a creative collaborator and as a runtime engine: it drafts political debates, generates surprise events during your campaign, narrates the consequences of player decisions and keeps every playthrough genuinely different. The result is a game that reacts to you instead of replaying a fixed script. For our political simulations that means parliaments where bills, scandals and coalitions evolve based on what the players actually do. For our minigames that means fresh prompts, twists and chaos every round, so the tenth game night still feels like the first.
Built in Sweden, made for the world
TrySomeGames is fully remote and headquartered in Sweden, with everything we ship localised in both English and Swedish from day one. We believe great games come from small, opinionated teams that care more about being fun than about being safe, and we openly publish our roadmap, our experiments and the ideas that did not work. If you want to follow along, contribute feedback, report a bug or just see what we are prototyping next, the links above are the best place to start.
