Asteroids
A neon remake of the 1979 arcade classic — five sectors, five bosses, co-op, Blitz, Boss Rush and a Daily Run.
ABOUT
Asteroids is a neon-vector take on the 1979 arcade game. Your ship drifts with real inertia on a screen that wraps at every edge, and every rock you shoot splits into smaller, faster pieces: large rocks break into two medium, medium into two small.
The Journey takes you through five sectors with their own sky, hazard and boss: the Asteroid Belt, the Meteor Storm with warned meteor showers, Saturn's Rings with comets, the Deep Void with black holes that pull in everything nearby, and the Alien Frontier with UFO invasions. Every fifth level ends with a boss, from the Mothership to the Hive Queen. After level 25 the sectors start over with faster rocks and stronger bosses.
Beyond the Journey there are four more modes. Co-op puts two ships on one screen with a shared score and pool of lives. Blitz gives you three minutes and unlimited ships, with ten seconds lost per death. Boss Rush lines up all five bosses with a time bonus, and the Daily Run gives everyone the same opening waves on the same UTC day, with its own top five.
Eight power-ups — shield, rapid fire, triple shot, homing shots, time warp, score x2, extra life and smart bomb — drop from destroyed rocks and enemies. Kills chained within 2.2 seconds build a combo multiplier that resets when you lose a ship, and golden asteroids are worth 1,000 extra points.
Play with a keyboard, a standard gamepad (two in co-op) or touch controls with a floating stick or buttons. Settings include hold-to-fire, screen shake and flash switches, a CRT filter and separate music and effects volume. Reduced-motion preferences turn shake and flashes off on the first visit.
Eight cosmetic hulls unlock through achievements in the Hangar. Sign in with your TrySomeGames account and the game's 37 achievements and your playtime sync to your profile.

REVIEWS & RATINGS
Editorial review by TrySomeGames — not a player rating
VERDICT: A faithful, readable vector shooter with enough modes to make one more run easy to justify.
The core is the classic one: thrust, rotate, fire and a hyperspace jump that can land you anywhere. Momentum is the real enemy, because the ship keeps drifting and you have to plan your stops.
What keeps it fresh is the structure around that core. Each sector adds one new problem — meteor showers, three-hit comets, black holes, UFO invasions — and each boss has its own pattern, so the late levels feel different rather than just faster.
The extra modes cover different moods: Blitz for three-minute sessions, Boss Rush for pattern practice, co-op for two people on one screen and the Daily Run for comparing the same waves day by day.
