Kickabout
Pixel-sprite arcade football with bots, local co-op and versus, online rooms, Power Up, League and knockout cups.
ABOUT
Kickabout is fast, top-down arcade football built around short, readable matches from 1v1 to 5v5. There are no goalkeepers, offsides or fouls, so every player attacks and defends and possession can change in an instant.
Run into the ball to bump it, or hold Kick while touching it for an aimed strike. Choose one-, four- or eight-minute matches, set the CPU to Easy, Normal or Hard, and customise your jersey, shorts and socks in the Locker Room.
Single Player fills both teams with CPU players. Local 2P supports versus or same-team co-op on one device, while Host Online and Join Online connect players through a four-character room code and fill empty places with CPU players.
Power Up adds Turbo, Rocket, Magnet, Freeze, Wall, Ghost and Mystery bubbles. League runs a saved season against five CPU clubs, and Cup draws up to eight teams into quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final; when online play is unavailable it becomes an offline Solo Cup.
Every goal can be replayed in slow motion, and full time shows possession, shots, shots on target and the player of the match. Clear days, floodlights and snow change the matchday look without changing the physics.
Play with keyboard, touch controls or gamepads. On an upright phone the pitch rotates to use the available screen, while vibration, pitch orientation, replays, names, motion and separate audio channels can all be adjusted in Settings.

REVIEWS & RATINGS
Editorial review by TrySomeGames — not a player rating
VERDICT: Fast, keeper-free arcade football with strong match variety, from one-minute solo games to Power Up, League and online cups.
Kickabout keeps the move-and-kick simplicity of arcade football but now supports a much wider set of matches: 1v1 to 5v5, three CPU difficulties, local versus or co-op, four-character online rooms, Power Up, a saved League and an eight-team Cup.
The ball physics remain readable: bump the ball by running into it or hold Kick for an aimed strike. Goal replays, full-time statistics, player of the match, weather and an animated crowd give short matches a convincing matchday rhythm.
Keyboard, touch and gamepad controls make the same English-language game playable on desktop, tablet and phone. Signed-in players can sync all 39 achievements and playtime to their TrySomeGames profile.
PROS
- Simple controls with skillful ball physics
- Many solo, local and online modes
