Minigames Party is a pixel-art party game for 1 to 4 players on one screen: 15 fast minigames, 32 characters and four party modes. Empty seats are filled by CPU players at Easy, Normal or Hard.

Friends gather around one screen, pick characters and compete in short minigames that all use the same simple controls: movement plus one action button. The modes wrap those minigames in different kinds of drama — Party Board adds dice, coins and crowns on a game board, Minigame Rush is a race to a number of wins, Knockout eliminates whoever finishes last, and Free Play lets you practise any minigame.

The 15 minigames include Coin Fountain, Fuse Pass, Crumble Floor, Bumper Ring, Lightning Draw, Balloon Pump, Dance Copy, Hop Hurdles, Snowball Scramble, Fruit Catch, Paint Party, Meteor Dodge, Tower Stack, Lucky Lure and Count the Critters.

There are 32 characters to play — 24 available from the start and 8 unlocked through achievements — and 40 achievements to earn, four of them secret. Keyboard, up to four gamepads and touch are all supported.

There is no sign-up, no download and no cost. The whole game is one self-contained file that works the same on phones, tablets and desktops.

VERDICT: A fast, chaotic party pack of short minigames. Best in short bursts with friends.

Minigames Party is the opposite of our simulation titles: no manuals, no sign-up, no commitment. Open it, pick a game, play it for five to ten minutes, move on. Most games are designed for 1–8 players, work in the browser, and require zero explanation.

Because the pack holds fifteen very different minigames, the styles vary wildly from round to round.

It is the best entry point if you are curious about what TrySomeGames does but not ready to commit to a full simulation. Bring friends.
