Food Fight
A top-down dodgeball food fight: throw, catch and dodge across the line in seven modes, eight arenas and a story league.
ABOUT
Food Fight is a top-down dodgeball game with food. Two or four teams each own part of the room, separated by tape. Throw food across the line, dodge what comes back, and catch a throw at the right moment to stop it — three hits splat a player, and the last team with anyone standing wins the round.
Rounds are short, about 25 to 50 seconds, and the first team to three rounds wins the match. Power-up crates appear on your side of the room: Rapid Fire, Triple Shot, Tray Shield, Snack Break, Melon Bomb and Frost Throw. A team that is behind can also find sabotage crates such as Banana Slip and Jam Jar.
There are seven modes: Teams, Solo against up to eight CPUs, Tournament, 4 Teams, Comeback, Chaos and Sudden Snackdown. Eight arenas — from the Gym Floor and Cafeteria to the Buffet and the slippery Walk-in Freezer — change the cover and how you move.
The Lunch League is a story mode with twelve matches in four chapters. Coach Custard takes your crew, the Leftovers, through four venues to the Grand Kitchen of Chef Supreme, a boss who throws fans of big pies. Each match has three star goals, and stars unlock new chapters and cosmetics.
A one-minute training teaches moving, throwing, aiming, catching and crates by doing. Today's Special is a new match recipe each day that is the same for everyone. Up to four people can play on one device, and touch, keyboard and mouse and controllers switch automatically, and the same simulation rules apply to every device.
Customise your player with hats, glasses and extras, many unlocked through stars and achievements. Sign in with your TrySomeGames account and the game's achievements and playtime sync to your profile. Online play is not available on this site.
Version 1.0.0.5 adds the Kitchen Band, a new soundtrack of seven songs that gets more intense as a match heats up, plus a Jukebox in the main menu. The original soundtrack can still be chosen under Settings > Sound.

REVIEWS & RATINGS
Editorial review by TrySomeGames — not a player rating
VERDICT: A fast, readable party brawler where catching is the skill that separates good players from great ones.
Throwing is easy, and that is the point: aim help applies equally to every human player, so the depth lies in positioning, timing a catch and choosing when to grab a crate.
Catches also revive a splatted teammate, which keeps rounds tense until the last player is down. Sabotage crates give the trailing team a chance without deciding the match for them.
The Lunch League gives solo players a clear path with star goals and a real boss, and the CPU levels are distinctly different from easy to hard.
PROS
- Short rounds that are easy to read
- Story league with star goals and a boss
- Same rules on every device

FREQUENTLY ASKED
How do I win a round?
Splat everyone on the other team. Three hits splat a player, and the last team with anyone standing wins the round. The first team to three rounds wins the match (six in Tournament).
How does catching work?
Press catch just before a throw reaches you. A catch stops the food, adds to your combo and revives your most recently splatted teammate (not in Tournament).
Can I play alone?
Yes. Solo mode puts you against up to eight CPUs, the Lunch League has twelve story matches, and Today's Special gives a new match every day.
Which controls are supported?
Touch, keyboard and mouse, and controllers. The game switches automatically to whatever you used last, and there is a one-minute training for each scheme.
Can I play online?
Not on this site. Food Fight is played against CPUs or with others on the same device.
