Word Doodle
Draw a secret word while others race to guess it — against bots, in Pass & Play on one device, or in the solo Doodle Dash.
ABOUT
Word Doodle is a draw-and-guess party game in the browser. Players take turns drawing a secret word while the others type guesses; guessers see the word as blanks with the letter count, and letter hints appear over the turn.
Points reward speed. A correct guess scores between 100 and 500 depending on how much time is left, and the drawer earns points for every player who gets the word. Close guesses are flagged privately as close, and correct answers are never shown to the other guessers.
Play against bots with three skill levels — they draw from a book of 108 hand-made doodles and guess with plausible near-misses — or use Pass & Play to share one phone, tablet or laptop with friends: the drawer chooses the word privately and awards the first correct guess.
Doodle Dash is a solo mode: Doodlebot draws faster and faster, and you have 90 seconds to guess as many doodles as you can. The Daily Dash uses the same doodle order for everyone on the same day, and only your first run of the day counts toward the daily streak.
The 375 words are sorted into ten packs, from Animals and Food to the optional Tricky pack. Drawing tools include 20 colours, five brush sizes, a bucket fill, an eraser and undo. A sketchbook lets you draw freely and keep your drawings in a gallery.

REVIEWS & RATINGS
Editorial review by TrySomeGames — not a player rating
VERDICT: A warm, well-tuned draw-and-guess game that is fun alone with bots and better with people on the sofa.
The scoring is easy to grasp — guess fast, score more — and the private 'close' hint keeps rounds fair without spoiling the word for others.
Bots are the surprise: they draw recognisable doodles with a hand-drawn wobble and make believable wrong guesses, so a solo game still feels like a table of players.
Pass & Play turns one device into a party game, and Doodle Dash gives a quick solo challenge with a daily version.
PROS
- Fun solo thanks to convincing bots
- Pass & Play on a single device
- Daily Dash for a short daily challenge
CONS
- Text and words are in English only
- The Tricky word pack is off by default and can be hard for younger players

FREQUENTLY ASKED
How does a round work?
The drawer picks one of up to four words and draws it; everyone else guesses. A faster correct guess scores more, and the drawer earns points for each player who gets it.
Can I play with friends on one device?
Yes. Pass & Play hands the device from player to player. The drawer chooses the word privately and taps the name of whoever guessed first.
What is Doodle Dash?
A 90-second solo mode where Doodlebot draws faster and faster. Correct guesses add time; skips cost time. The Daily Dash uses the same doodles for everyone on the same day.
Does it work on touch screens?
Yes. Drawing with a finger or stylus works on phones and tablets, and the layout adapts down to 360-pixel-wide screens.
Is Word Doodle free?
Yes. It is free in the browser with no download and no paid unlocks.
