Scoops Aloft
Deliver ice cream by balloon in a record heatwave: ride the wind lanes, keep the scoops cold up high and drop them into customers’ bowls before they melt.
ABOUT
Scoops Aloft (version 1.0.0.2) is a side-view delivery game. The roads of Saltwhistle Bay have gone soft in a record heatwave, so June Bramble ties fair balloons to Grandpa Mo’s ice cream cart and delivers by air.
You climb, sink and pedal a propeller left and right; let go and the balloons hover. Every height has its own wind lane, so the trick is to find one that blows your way.
The air cools as you climb, which keeps the scoops from melting, but above the burst line balloons start popping, and climbing uses helium. Hover over a customer and drop when the drop guide turns green.
Story has six chapters and 30 deliveries with three stars each. Heatwave Shift is endless, Daily Delivery gives everyone the same route each day, and Duo puts two carts on one device, in co-op or as rivals.
Coins buy upgrades, balloons and carts in the Workshop. There are 36 achievements (three secret); progress is saved in your browser, and achievements unlocked while signed in are saved to your TrySomeGames account.

VERDICT: A gentle, clever delivery game where reading the wind matters more than fast reflexes.
The wind ladder is the heart of Scoops Aloft. Instead of fighting the wind you climb or sink into the lane that blows your way. Height is a trade-off: cold air keeps scoops from melting, but the burst line and your helium stop you staying at the top.
Dropping a scoop is the satisfying part: hover, wait for the green drop guide and allow for drift. You always drop the top scoop, so stack order matters.
Story ramps up across six districts, and Heatwave Shift, Daily Delivery and Duo keep it going afterwards. The game is only in English, and progress stays in your browser.
