Frostfling
Fling living snowballs from a slingshot to topple Emberling forts and put out every last spark.
ABOUT
Frostfling is a 2D physics slingshot puzzle game. The Emberlings, small fire creatures, are melting Frostpeak mountain, and you fling living snowballs — the Flurries — to knock down their forts and put out every last spark.
Five Flurries each have a special move: Puff the all-rounder, Trio that splits in three, Dart that pierces ice and crates, Chonk that slams with a shockwave and Blizz that freezes blocks and puts out bonfires.
Forts are built from ice, wood, stone, firework crates and frozen blocks. Flurries grow as they roll down snowy slopes and melt near fire and lava, and aurora gates, wind gusts and hidden golden flakes add twists.
The campaign has 30 levels in five regions, including the Magma Mama boss, with eight short story scenes. Endless Summit builds forts one after another, Daily Fort offers a new fort every day, and Two Players supports local Versus and Co-op.

REVIEWS & RATINGS

VERDICT: A charming, inventive slingshot puzzler with satisfying physics and smart snowball growth.
Frostfling takes a familiar formula and gives it a fresh rule: snowballs grow as they roll and melt near heat. That turns every slope and bonfire into part of the puzzle.
The five Flurries are clearly different, and the campaign introduces them at a good pace before mixing them in the later regions and the Magma Mama fight.
Endless Summit, the Daily Fort and local two-player modes give it a long life after the story.
PROS
- Satisfying physics and destruction
- Snowball growth and melting add strategy
