Scatter & Snap guide
Snap every piece into place to finish the picture.
STEP BY STEP
- Choose Free Play or the Postcard Trail.
- Pick a picture and a piece count.
- Drag pieces — true neighbours snap together and into the frame.
- Use Edges, the picture hint, Tidy or Scatter when you need help.
- Finish the picture to record your time and earn achievements.
CONTROLS
- Mouse: drag pieces, drag the empty table to look around, Ctrl/⌘ + wheel to zoom.
- Touch: drag pieces, swipe the table to pan; several fingers can move several pieces.
- Keyboard: + − 0 zoom, R rotate, E edges, H hint, T tidy, S scatter, M music, Esc menu.
DIFFICULTY
Relaxed. Choose 24 to 150 pieces; rotation makes it harder.
STRATEGY
- Start with the edge pieces using the Edges tool.
- Use Tidy to sort pieces into rows.
- Group pieces by colour before building.
AVOID THESE MISTAKES
- Spreading pieces over the frame instead of around it.
- Turning on rotation for a first puzzle.
- Forgetting that unfinished puzzles save when you return to the menu.

No timer or fail state, keyboard shortcuts, reduced motion and light and dark themes.
