Minefield guide
Open every plot that does not hide a charge. A number shows how many charges touch that plot.
STEP BY STEP
- Dig anywhere to start; the first dig and its neighbours are always safe.
- Read the numbers and mark certain charges with pennants.
- Tap a number whose pennants match it to open the rest of its ring.
- Use hints when stuck — they only show certain moves, but they count as aids.
- In the campaign, aim for all three stars: clear, beat par and use no aids.
CONTROLS
- Dig: tap, left click, Space or Enter, or A on a gamepad.
- Pennant: hold or FLAG mode on touch, right click, F, or X.
- Clear the ring: tap or click a number, or Space on a number.
- Hint: H or Y. Switch DIG/FLAG: T or LB/RB.
- Detector (campaign): D. New sweep: N. Pause: Esc or P.
DIFFICULTY
Classic Easy, Medium, Hard and Custom; the campaign gets harder chapter by chapter; Duel difficulty is the CPU level.
STRATEGY
- Look for 1s on corners and edges — they often settle a charge directly.
- When two numbers overlap, compare the plots they share.
- Count the remaining charges near the end; the total can decide the last plots.
- In Duel, uncover plots where a charge is likely — finding one gives you another turn.
AVOID THESE MISTAKES
- Clearing a ring with a wrong pennant — the game trusts your pennants.
- Guessing on a fair field when a certain move still exists.
- Using detectors early in a campaign sector and losing the clean-sweep star.
DEVICES
Works on phones, tablets and computers with touch, mouse, keyboard or gamepad.
