The Digging Worm
A turn-based digging puzzle: guide Digby the worm through soil, clay and rock, eat every egg and bone, and don’t get squashed by falling boulders.
ABOUT
The Digging Worm (version 1.0.0.3) is a turn-based digging puzzle game. Digby, a gentleman worm in a green bowler hat, has been invited to the Great Wriggle, a dance held once a century deep beneath the Old Oak.
Nothing moves until you do. Each move is one wriggle: dig soil, crack clay, drill hard rock with gold, push boulders or back up along your own tunnel. Then unsupported boulders fall, and mites, mole crickets, rhino beetles and centipedes take their turn.
Eat every egg and bone to grow, then enter the hatch. Each level has three stars: finish it, find the trinket and finish within par. Undo is allowed in Story and the Daily Dig, and every level is proven winnable.
Story has 36 hand-made levels in six chapters with dialogue. Endless generates ever deeper levels with three lives, the Daily Dig is the same puzzle for everyone each day, and Duel is a local match against a friend or the computer.
There are 40 achievements (three secret) and 19 hats. Progress is saved in your browser, and achievements unlocked while signed in are saved to your TrySomeGames account. The game is in English.

REVIEWS & RATINGS
Editorial review by TrySomeGames — not a player rating
VERDICT: A charming, fair puzzle game where every move counts.
Because nothing moves until you do, every level is a readable puzzle: where the boulders will fall, which way the mites will march, and how long your tail will be after the next egg. Undo keeps experiments cheap.
The creatures add depth steadily, and par and trinkets give a reason to replay levels you have already finished.
