Eight Light
Realistic 8-ball pool with true spin physics — against the CPU, a friend on the sofa or someone online.
ABOUT
Eight Light is a realistic 8-ball pool game for the browser. The table, the 3D balls, the music and every sound are generated in code, so it loads as one small file and runs on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
The physics use real cushion and pocket-jaw geometry and a true spin model: draw, stun, follow and side spin off the cushions. Aim, pull back and release, and the cue ball behaves the way it would on a real table.
Quick match lets you play the CPU in any mode. The Long Rack is a story mode across eight lamp-lit halls and eight opponents. Two players can pass the cue on one device, and Play online hosts a table or joins a friend.
The Academy has five short lessons from aiming to banks, and Trick shots offers eight puzzles on the felt. Statistics, local profiles and replays at half speed track how you improve.
27 achievements sync to your TrySomeGames account when you are signed in. Version 1.0.0.1 is in English and supports mouse, touch and full keyboard play, with light and dark themes and reduced motion.

REVIEWS & RATINGS

VERDICT: Convincing pool physics in a polished, lightweight package that teaches as well as it plays.
Eight Light gets the most important thing right: the balls feel real. Spin off the cushions, draw shots and stun shots all behave predictably, which makes good positional play deeply satisfying.
The Long Rack gives solo play a sense of progression, while the Academy and trick shots are an excellent way to learn spin and banks.
Local and online two-player options make it easy to play with friends.
PROS
