Four tiny planets. A gun whose bullets orbit them.
Every shot you miss flies all the way around and comes back to the spot you fired it from.
Best with a mouse and keyboard. Touch works too.
Fire level and the shot circles the whole planet at chest height. It hits anything in its path, even on the far side.
Miss, and it comes back to the exact spot you fired from, about 11 seconds later. Don't be standing there. A pink ring on the ground marks the spot.
Aim up to lob a shot over the horizon. It bursts where it lands.
The radar maps the whole planet. You're in the middle and the rim is the far side. Anything on the gold line is in the path of a level shot.
Pickups drop from beaten enemies: an extra heart, a shield that blocks one hit, a nova, and overdrive (no reloading for 8 seconds).
Waves. Survive endless waves and chase a high score. Hits from shots that went around the world score double or triple. Every fifth wave the Mother Gloop lands: her shield blocks shots from the front, so fire the other way and hit her from behind. The run ends when your hearts run out.
Planets. Pebble is where it starts. Reach wave 5 on a planet to unlock the next: Cinder is small and hot, and its lava burns you and the enemies alike; Rime is big and slippery; Driftmoon has low gravity, so you jump twice as high. The smaller the planet and the stronger its gravity, the sooner your shots come back.
Trick shots. Ten lessons on Pebble, plus one on each of the other planets once you have reached it in Waves. Clear a lesson by popping every balloon (or, on Cinder, by seeing off every gloop), using as few shots as you can: matching par earns three stars. There is no reloading, so every shot counts.
Daily orbit. One planet, one twist and one set of waves each day, the same for every player. Finish a run to set today’s best, and come back tomorrow to keep your streak going.
Party (local multiplayer). Two to four players share one computer or phone and take turns on the same trick shots. Stars are worth 100 points each, quick finishes earn a bonus, and the highest total wins. There is no online play.
Click a key to change it, then press the new key. Esc cancels.
Click Resume to pick up where you left off.
Each planet changes how long your shots take to come back. Reach wave 5 on a planet to unlock the next one.
Everyone gets the same planet, twist and waves today, even on a planet you haven’t unlocked yet. Daily runs keep their own record and don’t unlock planets. A new orbit begins at midnight UTC.
Lessons in orbital marksmanship: ten on Pebble, and one on each of the other planets once you reach it. Use as few shots as you can: matching par earns three stars.
Two to four players take turns on the same trick shots. Each star is worth 100 points, a quick finish earns up to 100 more, and the best total wins.
