mute. With a mouse, drag or use the wheel to scroll and click the minimap to jump. On touch screens, tap the buttons, drag the battlefield to look around and tap one of your turrets to sell it.

Game modes

Skirmish: a full battle against the computer at four difficulties, with optional custom rules. Chronicle: the story campaign in nine chapters with bonus stars. Last Stand: survive an endless, growing horde. Local Versus: two players on one screen. Co-op Command: two players share one army against the computer.

Tips

Build a turret before the first big push arrives. Keep a mix of front-line and ranged units. Heavy units are expensive but anchor your line. Use the special when the enemy bunches up. Evolving early gives you a tougher base, but check that you can afford the new units first.
